Marina Ford is a senior at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. She is majoring in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and has a double-minor in Comparative and Critical Race and Ethnic Studies and Creative Writing. Before interning with CWGL, Marina was the Social Media Intern for the Institute for Women’s Leadership (IWL), a Development Intern at Day One in Manhattan, and a student employee at Rutgers Career Exploration and Success (CES) for over three years. She is part of a two-year, honors-level certificate program with the Institute for Women’s Leadership, where she focuses on human rights and grassroots activism and organizing. Marina is also a member of the Rutgers Chapter of Triota, the National Women's Studies Honor Society. Her research interests include sexual violence against women and other vulnerable groups, and when she graduates, she hopes her career centers around providing resources and being an advocate for survivors.
