May 2, 2007, United Nations, New York: Sixteen NGO representatives (including Cynthia Rothschild, Senior Policy Advisor, CWGL) met with the Deputy Secretary-General (DSG) of the United Nations, Ms. Asha Rose Migiro, at a luncheon co-hosted by the United Nations Non-Governmental Liaison Service (NGLS) and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES). The NGO representatives expressed their views to the DSG on the "Report of the Secretary General on the recommendations contained in the report of the High-level Panel on United Nations System-Wide Coherence in the areas of development, humanitarian assistance and the environment (A/61/836)."
