May 23, 2013: Executive Director Radhika Balakrishnan will serve as the commencement speaker for the commencement exercises of the Bedford Hills College Program (BHCP) at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility, New York State's maximum sercurity prison for women.

October 3, 2013 (9:30am-5pm): Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms: 20 Years After Vienna. The Center for Women’s Global Leadership (CWGL) at Rutgers University will host a day long symposium to discuss human rights 20 years after the United Nations World Conference on Human Rights. The event will seek to engage stakeholders on the challenges and opportunities for human rights in the 21st century.
